Known by God

Known by God

Reading: Matthew 7:21-23; 1 Corinthians 8:3; Matthew 18:1-4

Devotional: The most sobering words in Scripture are "I never knew you." Belief isn't enough—even demons believe. Baptism isn't enough—Simon the sorcerer was baptized. Following ministry isn't enough—Judas walked with Jesus. The question is: does God know you? Not do you know about Him, but are you in relationship with Him? This knowing comes from intimacy, from daily fellowship, from humble dependence like a child. Love for God isn't manufactured through duty; it flows naturally from a transformed heart. When you truly love Him, you can't help but love others. You're compelled to serve, driven to the Kingdom, drawn to His presence. Examine your heart today: Is your faith relational or merely religious?
