Banks County Family Connection meets on the 2nd Monday at 10:00 am @ Banks County Board of Education. These meetings keep us informed about the resources available to families and provide opportunities for partnership with organizations in the community.

Jackson County Family Connection

Anyone living in or working in the county is welcome to attend a Family Connection meeting. Family Connection works to bridge the resource gap within each county. The Jackson County Family Connection meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at 8:30 am @ Reboot Jackson.

Hope Pregnancy Resource Center

The Hope PRC offers support and encouragement to expectant mothers in the community. They provide classes, physical items needed for a baby, and the love of Christ. There are many ways to volunteer with Hope PRC, including sorting clothing donations and assisting with classes. They are open Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Street Love Ministries works to be the front-line display of the love of Christ by meeting basic needs and building meaningful relationships with the homeless community. Ways to volunteer with Street Love Ministries: Pray for the homeless, donate clothing and camping gear, make snack bags, and give financially.

Domestic Violence/Abuse: 

Peace Place

Peace Place is a domestic violence shelter to help women and children escape abuse in their homes. They provide safe shelter, advocacy, supportive services, and community awareness to residents of Banks, Barrow, and Jackson County. You can volunteer by providing donations of services or supplies, working at the thrift store, or interning with Peace Place.
