Surrender All

Surrender All

(Luke 5:11 (NASB95)  When they had brought their boats to land, they left everything and followed Him).  There’s only one requirement to be a disciple: forsake all and follow Christ.  Die to everything that you are so that He might live through you.  I’ve been a Christian my whole life.  I was born again when I was a child.  It was a very vivid and distinct moment in my life when everything changed.  Just because you are born again doesn’t mean you will be Holy.  You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, but to live Holy requires effort on our part.  I was a carnal Christian.  I lived in the world and sinned with the best of them.  Im so grateful God is patient, His mercy is new every day, and He didn’t just kill me as I deserved.  Instead, His love for me never changed.  (Lamentations 3:23 (NASB95)  They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness).
I have seen many salvations, signs, and wonders through the years but wasn’t walking in God’s full calling.  I was a Christian in the world, a Preacher in the car business, a Preacher and a gym rat, a preacher and an MMA nut,  a Preacher and a realtor, a preacher and a gamer, a Preacher but constantly distracted with something else that I was not willing to let go of.  One day I decided to trust Him and give him everything.  I surrender all that I am and my will to Him.  Then He spoke to me and said something powerful.  He said, “Son, all I ever wanted was all of you.” He didn’t say all I ever wanted was a little, a part of my week, an hour on Sunday, or even 50% of my life.  He wants all of me, and He wants all of you.  I had one foot in the church and one foot in the world.  It doesn’t work that way.  Since my submission, He has begun to move and show up daily.  Miracles, signs and wonders, and salvations are increasing, and He is leading and guiding my every step.  (Matthew 10:39 (NASB95) “He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it).  Please don’t waste 50 years of your life waiting and wondering why God is not moving as He promised in His Word.  We are not waiting on Him; He is waiting on us.

Be Blessed and be BOLD,
Pastor Charlie
