Gifts for Today

Gifts for Today

The gifts of the Spirit have been under attack, and now religious leaders are pushing their powerless doctrine on people.  I watched a service on YouTube of a group of men in suits sitting in chairs on the church stage, discussing strategic ways to convince people that the gifts of the Spirit are dead.  (2 Tim 3:5 having a form of godliness but denying its power.  And from such people turn away!  NKJV)  The power of the Holy Spirit helps to keep you humble.  He enables you to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh.  The Holy Spirit gives you power.  (Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you NASB).  If you don't believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and think that the gifts of the Spirit are not for us today, then you are living in the flesh, relying solely on your five senses.  That's what the Bible calls a carnal Christian.  Paul rebuked the men of Corinth in the 3rd chapter and said they were "behaving like mere men.".  People don't believe in miracles until they need one.  I've seen hundreds of miracles and experienced many in my life.  A person with testimony is not at the mercy of a person with an argument.  Even if the stiff-necked religious crowd of today sees a miracle, they won't believe it.  The Jews saw the miracles of Jesus, and they still crucified Him.  Signs and wonders follow us everywhere we go.  Miracles, power, and the manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit are not occasional; they are the norm in our ministry and lives.  I'm not trying to convince or change anyone's mind.  Im just saying, "You're not going to change mine!"   (Rom 14:12  So then each one of us will give an account of himself to God NASB).

Be blessed and be BOLD!
