The Battle of Will
Reading: Joshua 24:14-15, Matthew 6:10
Devotional: "Choose this day whom you will serve." Joshua's declaration echoes through millennia to our moment. The fundamental spiritual battle isn't ultimately about behaviors—it's about will. Your will versus God's will. Every choice to submit to God's kingdom advances His purposes; every act of self-will aligns with darkness, however unintentionally. Jesus modeled perfect submission: "Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." This prayer isn't passive resignation but active surrender to divine purpose. Technology, artificial intelligence, and worldly systems increasingly demand our dependence and allegiance. They promise convenience but require submission. Today, examine where you've surrendered your will. Have you traded dependence on God for dependence on systems that operate apart from Him? Reclaim God's will for your life through deliberate, prayerful submission to your Creator alone.
