The Holy Spirit—Our Neglected Helper

The Holy Spirit—Our Neglected Helper

Reading: John 14:15-17, 25-26; Acts 1:8; Romans 8:26-27

Devotional: The Holy Spirit is often the most neglected person of the Trinity, yet He is our constant companion, helper, and guide. He is not a force or influence—He is God dwelling within us. The same Spirit who hovered over creation, who descended like a dove at Jesus' baptism, who empowered the early church at Pentecost, lives in you. Without the Holy Spirit, we would have no spiritual life, no power to overcome sin, no ability to understand Scripture. Today, acknowledge the Holy Spirit personally. Thank Him for His presence. Ask Him to lead you, convict you, comfort you, and empower you. Develop a relationship with the Helper who makes Christ real in your daily life.
