Destroying Your Oppressors
Reading: Exodus 14:26-31; Romans 12:2
Devotional: Moses didn't just cross the Red Sea—he turned around and watched God destroy his enemies. Many believers have been delivered but never experienced true freedom because they haven't put their past to death. You've been set free from addiction, but do you still identify as an addict? You've been forgiven, but do you still carry guilt? The Egyptians floating in the sea represent the complete destruction of what once held you captive. Mental deliverance follows spiritual deliverance through the renewing of your mind. Stop submitting yourself back to old patterns. When the enemy whispers lies about who you were, point to the sea and declare, "That person is dead. I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. My oppressors are destroyed."
