Living as Imitators of God
Reading: Ephesians 5:1-2; Exodus 34:29-30
Devotional: "Be imitators of God as beloved children." Who do you imitate? Who do you look like? Take a hard look in the mirror—not at your physical appearance, but at your spiritual reflection. Are you exhibiting the fruits of the Spirit, or are you consumed with worldly concerns? You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, but you're called to live holy. Holiness is an action, a choice you make daily. The world is clinging to counterfeit supernatural experiences because the Church hasn't demonstrated the true power of God. You represent Christ in this generation. Are you leaving a breadcrumb trail of miracles, or are you indistinguishable from the world? Today, choose one specific way you will imitate Christ's character in your interactions with others.
