The Belt of Truth
Reading: Ephesians 6:10-14; John 4:23-24
Devotional: Truth is the foundation of everything we do as believers. Just as a belt holds all other pieces of armor in place, truth anchors our spiritual lives. Jesus said the Father seeks those who worship in spirit and truth—not in religious performance or social acceptance, but in genuine relationship centered on His Word. When we gird ourselves with truth, we establish direction for our lives. Like watching an opponent's waist in basketball, truth tells us where we're really going. Today, examine your life: Is truth at the center of your decisions, relationships, and worship? Ask God to reveal any areas where compromise has crept in, and commit to building everything on the solid foundation of His unchanging Word.
