The Power of Discipleship
Reading: Proverbs 27:17; Hebrews 10:24-25
Devotional: We were never designed to walk alone. Like the newborn chick that needed another to show it how to eat and drink, we need fellow believers to guide us toward maturity. Iron sharpens iron—this isn't just a nice saying, but a spiritual necessity. God works through authority and community, not isolation. Even Jesus grew in wisdom and stature through relationship with others. Today, consider who is discipling you and who you are discipling. Are you submitting to spiritual authority? Are you investing in someone growing up behind you? The body of Christ functions best when we recognize our interdependence. Don't try to be an island. Embrace the community God has placed around you, allowing others to sharpen you as you sharpen them.
