Who are you?

Who are you?

Paul pleads from his soul in 2Co 5:20 (Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.)  He says, “as though God were making an appeal through us.” We are His Hands and Feet.  We are His Voice; we are ambassadors to Heaven.  It’s time to understand who you are and why you are here.  Ambassador, by definition, means an official representative of a king or government.  We have been given authority over all things in the Name of Jesus.  We represent a Kingdom, not of this world, and we are known on earth and in the heavens.
(Ac 19:15 And the evil spirit answered and said to them, “I recognize Jesus, and I know about Paul, but who are you?”).  We have been given authority over all things (Lu 10:19 “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you.  20 “Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in Heaven.”).  Even the spirits are subject to you in the name of Jesus.  We have been given the power to heal the sick, raise the dead, and cast out demons (Mt 10:8).  WHY AREN’T WE USING IT?!  Why aren’t we as a church standing up against a pagan society and preaching righteousness and holiness, rebuking ungodly laws and vain agendas that are blasphemies against the True and Living God?  The world does not believe in the power of God because we have not shown them the power of God.   We should be people of character, integrity, power, and authority.  We should be the ones people call in times of trouble because they know there is something different about us, and they know when we pray that God hears us.  Jas 5:16 “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”  It’s time to rise and act like kings, priests, and ambassadors to the Kingdom of Glory and let the world know of the love of God.  Tell them that Jesus restored what Adam lost in the garden and that we can walk with God again during the cool of the day (Ge 3:8).  Heaven is real, and eternity is closer than you think.

Be blessed and be BOLD,
Pastor Charlie
