"Were Healed"
(Isa 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes, we are healed). The Life, Death, and the Resurrection of Jesus were for more than salvation. Not that salvation from eternal damnation wasn’t enough, but we receive more than salvation when we receive Christ. If you accept His sacrifice, then accept His suffering as well. The Lord Jesus took on our transgression, our iniquities, our chastisement, and our sicknesses, and when He died, it all died with Him on the cross. If your illness died on the cross, then it's as far gone as your sin. RECEIVE YOUR HEALING! In Isaiah, the old testament prophecy says “are healed, “but in 1 Peter 2:24, the new covenant account says “were healed.” You were healed 2000 years ago. If you were healed, then your sickness is a false manifestation and a lie. Let God be true and every man a liar.
Do not believe, accept, or receive anything other than the truth; that’s God’s Word. (Pr 23:7 For as he thinks within himself, so he is) If what you believe is “what you are,” then why would you believe anything other than the promises of God for your life and family? Sick, busted, and disgusted is not the will of God for you. John writes in 3 John 1:2 Beloved; I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. As we grow spiritually, we should grow physically. As your faith grows, so should the miraculous power of applying God’s Word to your life. You can know about Jesus without accepting Him and go to hell. You can know about healing and not accept it and still be sick. I know it's easier said than done, but I’ve been through it, and I’ve seen the miraculous power of God firsthand. His will, not our own. His will is that you accept Him. His will is that you live in health. His will is that you become a living testimony to the Truth. He deserves your faith, and He deserves your testimony.
Be blessed and be BOLD,
Pastor Charlie
