Let there be
God is a verbal creator. He said in Genesis 1, “Let there be,” and He created all things. Then God said in (Genesis 1:26 (NKJV), “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness;). We were made in God’s image and share His likeness. We are creative beings, and our creative power is in our words. (James 3:10 (NKJV) Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.) Our words are powerful; they can bring blessings and can bring curses. Be careful what you say. Words combined with belief will come to pass. Sometimes we say stupid things like, “You’re killing me.” The reason it doesn’t kill you is that you don’t believe it. (Luke 6:45 (NKJV) A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks). Your words can either confirm your heart or confuse your heart. That’s how confusion creeps in. We say things that we don’t believe, and we know it, and others that hear us know it. Make sure to speak your convictions. Always be truthful. That’s why the devil lies to you. He’s trying to confuse your heart. Matthew 17:20 (NKJV) So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you).
Notice Jesus said, “if you say”. This verse is not a figure of speech or an exaggerated example. He meant exactly what he said. Remember when Jesus spoke to the fig tree, and it died (Mt 21:19). Speak to your situation. Speak to your mountain. Speak to your sickness and rebuke it. Sickness and disease are a lie. Call those things that be not as though they were like your Father does. We were made in His image. Believe it and act like it. Speak to your future and prophecy, child of God, because you were called for something greater. We are not waiting on God. He is waiting on us.
