Tomorrow

Tomorrow

No one is promised tomorrow. (Jas 4:14, whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a bit of time and then vanishes away). I have often said, “If I could go back in time with what I know now.” One day the revelation hit me. What if I just applied today what I know today? Imagine what the future would hold if you stopped procrastinating and just started doing it. The last thing you want is to look back ten years from now and say again, “If I could only go back with what I know now.” You know enough now. The question is, are you willing to do something with it? It starts with total submission to God. TODAY. There is no tomorrow. We all spend way too much time worrying and planning for tomorrow. (Matthew 6:34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own). If you’ll look back and think of all the sleepless nights and things you’ve worried about, nearly all of it worked out or never came to pass.

(2Co 6:2 For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. Today is the day of salvation). What if you knew you wouldn’t see tomorrow? What would you do today? What if you knew someone that wouldn’t see tomorrow and didn’t know Christ? What would you do? Time has no mercy, and we are all subject to it. You cant buy more of it, and you can’t go back. All you can do is make the most of it. In the grand scope of eternity, if you lived to be 1000 years old, it is still just a vapor, like a puff of smoke, and it’s over. That’s why Jesus says in (Mt 6:20, “but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal). I witnessed to a man years ago that refused to accept Christ. He saw a miracle of God and still refused Christ. I asked again, and he dropped his head in shame and said I’m just not ready yet. He died just a few weeks later without Christ. Accept the Lord Jesus today and then put your hand to the plow and get to work because the time is near, and “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few” (Lu 10:2). Pray! Jesus, today I make you my Lord and Savior. I believe You are the Son of God, and I believe You died on the cross for my sins. Forgive me of my sin and make me a new creation. Thank you for saving me. Today I give you my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
