What's wagging you?
(De 28:13 “And the LORD will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not beneath). Our promise is that we are the head, so if you are the tail in any situation, it’s because YOU submitted to it. If you are the tail, you are being led around and manipulated by something other than the Spirit of God. Addiction is the work of the devil. As a believer, the enemy has no authority over you, but if he can get you hooked on sin, you will destroy yourself. If you have an addiction, you have company. Demons are the influence behind your addiction. You have the authority to cast that demon away. Use it. Addictions are far more than just drugs and alcohol. Addictions are anything that requires you to satisfy the desire of your flesh (Ga 5:16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh). When the addiction is the head, it determines where you spend your time and where you spend your money. I refuse to be controlled and led by anything other than the Spirit of God. Now that’s easier said than done, but just because the battles are hard doesn’t mean you’re not supposed to fight them. Your addiction doesn’t care for you. It is not looking out for your best interest. It is trying to lead you away from the Truth, and it’s trying to kill you. Jesus died for your freedom, and the devil has lied to you. If I am a slave to anything again, it’s to the Gospel of Jesus and the will of God. A war is going on inside of you between the Spirit and your flesh. (Ro 13:14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts). We all have choices to make every day. Life or death? The will of God or the will of self? The Word or the world? Think about everything you do and every decision you make. Let’s pray, Father, in the Name of Jesus; I take the authority back that I’ve given to the enemy. I renounce and denounce my addiction, and I demand the demons leave. Devil, you have no more place in my life. I repent, and I'm delivered. Jesus, fill me with your Holy Spirit and power. Thank you for forgiving me, and thank you for saving me.
Be blessed and be BOLD,
Pastor Charlie
